Tsilivi Beach
In June ‘08 I went to Zante with my sister for a mega cheap last minute getaway. We only booked a few days before we flew so unfortunately there was no time for getting exciting and shopping for new holiday clothes! We stayed in the resort of Tsilivi and we were a bit apprehensive as to what we’d find when we got there because we didn’t have any time do any research so. We needn’t have worried though because it was a really nice place; we had such a great time. All we wanted to do was sunbathe during the day and enjoy a tasty meal and a good ol’ boogie in the evening, and that’s exactly what we could do here. The beach a long stretch of lovely golden sand, and sun loungers cost 3€ per day to hire. The sea was so gorgeous and warm; just perfect for cooling us down after soaking up the summer sun. We came across plenty of beach tavernas dotted along the stray in which to grab a drink or a snack during the day. They were reasonably priced too. Two Brothers bar and Friends bar at the other end of the resort are great places for dancing and live music. We had a great holiday and would recommend a cheap last minute holiday to Zante to everyone who loves a good dose of sun, sea, sand and partying.
