One of the most popular spots is the steps of the Avon Theatre, where young Justin busked before making it big with his singing career.

If A-Lister spotting is not for you and you’re more the sporty sort, catching a game of Canada’s national sport – ice hockey – is the perfect adrenaline filled activity to enjoy during your holiday to Canada. Ice hockey became so popular thanks to the many ice rinks and outdoor areas that Canadians can use to practise their skating skills or shooting. This means that many people grow up playing ice hockey at school or in their free time with friends.

Thanks to its many influences, Canada’s cuisine is as varied as its landscape. Food lovers will be in their element here, with plenty of dishes to try across the country to get a flavour of the Canadian delights. From east to west Canada you’ll find something different, a delicious range of seafood in British Columbia, poutine (French fries topped with gravy and cheese curds) in Québec, and lobster with a dab of melted butter in the Maritime provinces.

Canada is also coming into its own when it comes to wine production. Ontario and British Columbia are the two largest wine-producing provinces in Canada with two-thirds of Canadian vineyard acreage found in Ontario. Bold reds and crisp whites are the favourites – we could definitely enjoy a glass or two right about now!
