There’s one thing we love most about any city break: food! Toronto is just about the best of the best when it comes to mouth-watering cuisine from around the world. It’s got everything from Persion and Portuguese tastes to Greek shawarmas and Japanese pancakes to tickle your tastebuds. Be sure to swing by the likes of Little Italy and Chinatown on your trip for beautiful scenes and even more beautiful dishes!

It goes without saying that the people of Toronto take food extremely seriously. You can see just how much they love it for yourself at one of many fabulous food markets scattered around the city. Some of our favourites include World Food Market, Market 707, St Lawrence Market and Kensington Market. Don’t forget to pick up a peameal bacon sandwich, one of Toronto’s statement bites, on your travels!

The Fun Never ends

Want to stay busy and see things you’ve never seen before on your trip to Toronto? You’re in for a treat because there’s no end to the entertainment here. You could start your day off by visiting the highly rated Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, immerse yourself in the excitement of a baseball game in the afternoon and treat yourself to a theatrical performance or concert in the evening. There are even trips from Toronto to the iconic Niagara Falls if you fancy seeing something extreme. One thing’s for sure – fun is guaranteed!

There are so many weird and wonderful sights to see as you make your way around Toronto. For example, dog lovers should swing by the Berczy Park Dog Fountain, a whimsical water feature including a number of beloved breeds. You could visit the neighbourhood of Leslieville and spot the famous Doll House, a house front cluttered with dolls, toys and stuffed animals making for a colourful and unique stop. Other notable sights include the Yorkville Rock, Cube House and Graffiti Alley.

Unwinding In The City

When it comes to relaxing in the big city, Toronto has the most scenic spots. You can incorporate a lazy afternoon into your city break by picnicking or taking a stroll in gorgeous green spaces such as High Park, Toronto Island Park, Trinity Bellwoods Park or Kew Gardens. When you’ve got a busy schedule, sometimes taking a moment to stop and recharge the batteries is just what you need!

As well as spending time in tranquil parks, some of the more chilled-out things to do on your Toronto trip include visiting wineries or breweries for an afternoon tipple, going to a central city spa for some much deserved pampering or booking onto a dinner cruise where you’ll get breathtaking views of the iconic city skyline. You can take each day here at whatever pace you want – either way, you’ll simply love Toronto.
