Zig Zag Bar Pefkos is one of those lovingly warm, friendly sorts of bars you could easily make your go-to venue during your visit to the island of Rhodes. Zig Zag offers a seriously impressive list of cocktails and other alcoholic beverages, and it’s a friendly atmosphere thanks in part to the friendly owners Savvas and Manolis. It’s situated on the main strip of Pefkos.

This bar is genuinely delightful to look at. There’s a swimming pool with a waterfall feature and cool lighting at the end of the bar, meaning it’s the perfect choice for families in the day and a romantic one at night. As far as the bar goes, they’ve got some fantastic drinks here. If you do bring your kids, there’s pool tables, air hockey, a bouncy castle and play area to keep them – or you – busy.

Rock music at Rock Garden

Like the Eclipse Bar, the Rock Garden is a special bar thanks in part to its wonderful surroundings. Rock Garden is located near an imposing peak whilst still being within view of the sea. As the name suggests, the venue plays rock music so if that’s your bag, you’ll really love it. You can eat as well as drink here, and there’s live music too – acts vary in genre so the nights are open to all.

This is a really fun bar that serves perfect little cocktails, from the classics to the more adventurous. At Cavo Pefkos Cocktail Bar you can sit back and watch the world pass by, watch the TV or have a listen to the music. With friendly service and the fun Greek Night on Thursday, Cavo Pefkos is a top spot to visit when in Pefkos.

Bambooze Bar is a playful bar that offers free popcorn and peanuts, and the cocktails come with sparklers. There’s more to the place than glitter though, as not only are there delicious cocktails and drinks but fantastic music too. The bar hosts a Northern Soul night three times a week, which is well worth a visit if you’re out and about and looking for an old-school vibe.

In the absence of live peacocks, the next best things is a bar brimming with colour and stocked with delicious drinks. There are plenty of cocktails here, and Peacock is a fine choice for a fancy tipple or two on your way into Pefkos. Happy hour starts at 6pm and continues on until 10pm.

Pefkos By Night Bar is particularly welcoming to kids by virtue of its pay-to-use games room. For the adults, there’s a consistent rotation of tribute bands to groups such as The Beatles, The Jersey Tones, Drifters and Soul Divas. Head here for a night of good fun and good cocktails.
