Relax and soak up the sun on Perched Beach
Located in an elevated position above the water, hence its name, Perched Beach is a 150-metre long manmade sandy beach. It’s the ideal spot for grabbing a sunlounger and having a relaxing snooze under an umbrella.
There are also several lidos and swimming platforms dotted along the coastline so you can choose to take a cooling dip. Get a close look at some stunning motors at the Malta Classic Car Museum
The Malta Classic Car Museum in neighbouring Qawra is just a five-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride from the centre of Bugibba. This huge collection features around a hundred classic cars with the oldest model dating back to 1928.
You’ll be able to get a close look at iconic models such as a 1956 Ford Thunderbird and there’s a display showing the careful process of restoring cars to their original pristine glory. It’s a great day out for both adult and younger car enthusiasts.
Take the kids for some watery fun at Bugibba Water Park
Bugibba Water Park is open from the end of June to the beginning of October each year. On hot sunny days it’s the perfect place to take younger children as it’s aimed at ages one to 12.
They can have some giggles and fun on a range of water features and rides including tipping water buckets and water cannons. Keep your camera ready to take some fun shots as they enjoy themselves and create some fantastic holiday memories.
Swim, scuba-dive or snorkel around the Maltese coastline on a boat tour
