Guayarmina Princess Hotel is an adults only spot in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, around a 30 minute transfer from the airport. Costa Adeje is found on Tenerife’s south coast and is loved by many A Listers, including the Beckhams, and because of this it’s filled with luxury villas, five-star hotels and plenty of designer shops. The waterfront restaurants are the perfect evening spot here and if you’re wanting a spot of lively nightlife, Playa de las Americas is a stone’s throw away.

If you’re missing your favourite beauty treatments while you’re away then don’t worry, Guayarmina Princess Hotel’s spa and wellness centre has it covered! When it comes to pampering, the spa goes all out. There’s a water circuit with a steam room and a sauna, as well as massage cabins, both inside and out. The hair salon doubles up as a nail bar, too which is super handy if you need a fresh manicure on holiday or a quick touch up!
Lounging by the pool is one of our favourite holiday activities when it comes to relaxing during the daytime and luckily you’ll have plenty of spots to choose from here. You’ll have a choice of two main pools, and both are paired up with a nearby bar serving up drinks and snacks. The third pool is an infinity number that’s exclusive to the Platinum area – you’ll have access to it if you book a junior suite that comes with the hotel’s Platinum service.
You can also get your hands on fresh pool towels each day from 10am ’til 12pm at the pool area meaning you don’t need to bring any from home, saving space in your suitcase for more drop dead gorgeous outfits to style out on an evening.
Full Tummies, Happy Hearts
As we all know, food is the way to most people’s hearts and one of the best things about being on holiday is having delicious meals prepared for you, as well as the chance to sample cuisine you may not usually opt for back at home. The Food Market is the main eatery – it’s a buffet spot which has show cooking stations where you can watch your dinner sizzle in front of you.
The Roast à la carte restaurant specialises in meat dishes at dinner time. Starters and desserts are buffet style, while the main is a set menu with a few different options. You’ll need to book a minimum of a day in advance to dine here, and it depends on availability. There’s also the Platinum area restaurant too especially for guests staying in a Junior Suite. Make sure you book this spot 24 hours before too!
There’s plenty of bars around the place too! Bar 1988 offers drinks and cocktails until midnight and Bar Imagine is the venue for the evening entertainment, serving a variety of drinks including cocktails. Bar O2 is next to the pool area, offering alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, coffee and ice-cream, while Bar Seabreeze is open for coffee, ice-cream, snacks and drinks from 11.30am ‘til 6pm. Bar Sunset is open from 10.30am ‘til 5.30pm serving drinks, snacks and ice-cream and there’s also an exclusive Platinum bar reserved for Junior Suite guests!
Jam Packed Itinerary
Costa Adeje is filled with things to do, no matter what you enjoy. Down at the beach, windsurfing, jet skiing, boat trips and dolphin or whale watching are all on the menu. Golf lovers will be in their element here, with a championship course, stunning views and lush landscapes at Golf Costa Adeje.
Of course, you can’t go to Tenerife without paying a visit to the award winning waterpark, Siam Park. It’s one of, if not the biggest in Europe and has also been voted #1 in the world as part of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice awards. Aqualand also has loads of exciting slides and an incredible dolphin show.
Playa de las Américas is the party capital of Tenerife thanks to the one kilometre stretch known as Verónicas that is packed with nightclubs, cabaret bars, live music venues, shops and restaurants. This is a great spot to get your fill of late night fun before heading back to a quieter resort on the island. Back at the hotel, entertainment is a classy affair – a couple of the bars stay open late, and one puts on shows and live music every night which you can enjoy with a cocktail in hand.
