Relax Like Royalty

Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife is a beautiful hotel that literally looks like a castle. It’s on the island of Tenerife in laidback Golf del Sur, which is a peaceful town nestled into Tenerife’s southern corner. Golf del Sur began life as a private resort, and it shows…the area is surrounded by golf courses and a glossy marina.

It’ll take around 25 minutes to get here from Tenerife airport and once you arrive you can enjoy the compact town centre and its assortment of top-shelf lounge bars, pubs and pan-global restaurants. The lively duo of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are only a 20-minute drive away, too.

When you’re ready to bed down in the hotel, you’ll be greeted by a modern, clean room with great facilities. All rooms and suites come with a balcony or terrace, and with some you can opt for a sea view as well. Family rooms and junior suites also have a lounge area, and are equipped with a sofa-bed, too. The superior twin room features twin beds.

Splish, Splash!

The Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife has a great line up when it comes to watery entertainment. The hotel has seven pools with plenty of dedicated space for both grown ups and kids alike.

There are two fantastic outdoor pools for kids, an infinity number and an adults only spot, to name a few. The outdoor pools are lined with sunbeds giving you plenty of space to relax and put your feet up in between dips.

There’s also a fun-filled on-site splash park too for little ones, and this comes equipped with showers and slides. It has been designed just for them and you can rest assured it is a safe place to play thanks to the Safe Fun – Aquatic Leisure Certification, awarded by @TheFunLab.

Flavoursome Feasts

Fussy eaters of all ages are looked after at the buffet restaurant and it even has a special kids’ buffet and a baby station. Dinners are usually based on a theme, so you can mix things up and try new dishes whenever you fancy. A la carte dining is available from three restaurants, and you’ll need to make a reservation before being able to eat here.

Depending on what your taste buds are fancying that evening, the a la cartes serve up a range of different cuisines. There’s Il Paradiso Italian restaurant which specialises in all the best Italian favourites, Ladón Steak House to satisfy your juicy steak cravings, or Nemuru Asian restaurant if you feel like exploring delicious Asian cuisine. You can only dine at each a la carte once per week, and as part of the dress code, men are asked to wear full length trousers.

There are 4 bars throughout the hotel resort, including a couple of poolside bars. These are great for refreshments during the day when you’ve dipped in and out of the pool and are needing a little pick-me-up. There’s also the Dream Factory snack bar which is found by the pool for late night snacks including hot dogs, sandwiches and fruit.

Enviable Entertainment

The castle is the hotel’s hub of entertainment and is where sparkly shows occasionally take place at night. There’s a theatre for live music and shows, too! Teenagers will be able to play pool, table football, or table tennis, and there’s even time to dance to the DJ’s tunes. For youngsters, there’s a whole host of activities including costume workshops, crafts, cooking, and games.

But it doesn’t stop there! After dark, why not let your hair down and head to Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife’s nightclub? During the daytime, there’s plenty of engaging activities for everyone and even if group games aren’t your thing, you can still enjoy sports like table tennis, foosball and ping pong.

For those who love nothing more than relaxing on holiday, the Bahia Spa is the place to be. In here you can enjoy everything from massages to body treatments, lounging in the hot tub or even a trip to the hairdressers if you fancy. Here you’ll also find the solarium, equipped with sun loungers and parasols, as well as the gym with both cardio and weights equipment ready to use.
