Action-packed shores
Figueretas’ main stretch of crescent-shaped beach is only 100 metres long, so when it comes to cheap Ibiza holidays there’s plenty here for relaxation and amusement. There are ample sun loungers and umbrellas to rent, plus the opportunity to kayak, windsurf or grab a pedalo on the waves. There’s also a lifeguard on duty to ensure the fun stays safe.
Just behind Figueretas beach is a bustling promenade with bars, restaurants and market stalls, plus local street performers to keep passers-by entertained. Out in the distance, you’ll be able to see the iconic old town, Dalt Vila, rising up in nearby Ibiza Town.
Terrace dining
A great selection of dining awaits along Figueretas’ waterfront, equipped with outdoor terraces so you never have to venture far from the sea. You’ll find a handful of Spanish and Italian eateries, plus British-style pubs, where you can sip from a cool drink as you bask beneath the sun from a quiet, beachfront patio.
If you fancy more cosmopolitan dining, or want to start your big night out early, a fantastic array of restaurants awaits in Ibiza Town.
Vibrant nights
Figueretas has a variety of nightlife, from karaoke to kid-friendly discos, with even more of a selection in nearby towns. Beachside restaurants offer cocktails and wine to sip along the coast. Cosying in with your loved ones while watching the sunset here is the ultimate dose of romance, while restaurants’ outdoor terraces are also a great place to spend a relaxing evening with the family.
In Ibiza Town next door, the nightlife is legendary. Dance clubs like the famous Pacha keep the party going with neon lights and house music until the small hours of the morning. You’ll also find a calmer after-hours scene at local pubs and waterfront cocktail bars.
Just the other side of Ibiza Town is the resort of Playa d’en Bossa, home to the infamous Space nightclub, as well as Bora Bora and Ushuaia beach clubs, where visitors enjoy live DJ sets and energetic beach parties.
Unbeatable day trips
Figueretas may be a relaxing getaway of its own, but its location also makes it easily accessible to other nearby resorts. Hopping between towns on this side of the island is no sweat. Ibiza Town is only a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride away. There, you’ll find a host of bars and restaurants, plus historical re-enactments and cobbled streets in the town’s old fortified centre, Dalt Vila.
The tranquil shores of Es Cana, a water-sporting haven, are a brief bus ride away, as is Playa d’en Bossa – one of the most bustling resorts on the island, day and night. For the picture of relaxation, there’s Formentera, whose Caribbean-like shores are only a quick ferry ride off the coast. So when you feel like you want to adventure outside of your All Inclusive hotels Ibiza has on offer, there is plenty to see and do around the island.
Authentic shopping and stalls
The promenade behind Figueretas beach offers an assortment of market stalls that are excellent for snagging a local souvenir for you or your loved ones. If you head into Ibiza Town, your shopping options become endless, with high-end boutiques and high street stores in abundance.
Also one-of-a-kind to the island of Ibiza is the hippy market in Es Cana. It’s run by a group of ex-pats selling handmade wares such as jewellery, clothing and leather goods in a series of outdoor stalls. On top of this, you’ll find street performers, stalls for food and snacks and laid-back vibes that make for an easy-going afternoon out.
