There’s always time to learn a bit about history – especially in Alcudia. It was once named the capital by the Romans and they built an impressive city, in which the remains can be seen today. Most impressively, an amphitheatre that seated 2,000 people has been well preserved and you can walk around and take photos, and send yourself back in time.

Make the most of the history that’s there and check out the viewpoints from the top of the city walls – there’s 26 towers to choose from. Look out across the incredible Porta da Sant Sebastia, the neo-gothic Sant Jaume Church and just the simply jaw dropping views.
