Holidays to this hotel start from only
The TUI SUNEO Tamaimo Tropical Self Catering is decked out from top to toe in a cool, minimalist style. It’s a classic, white-washed place, centred around a pool scene with bar, sun terraces with loungers, and lush-green palms. There are two kids’ pools, too. Inside, you’ll find a contemporary restaurant that serves buffet meals, while entertainment comes in the form of two bars, a late-night disco, and karaoke and cabaret in the lounge. During the day, kids can enjoy activities tailored just for them. Head back to your room and you’ll find a space with calm, modern decor, and one or two-bed apartments feature a balcony.
Puerto De Santiago isn’t like many of the other resorts on Tenerife. This place is small, low-key, and calm. It’s a fishing village, and is host to just a handful of restaurants and bars…and a tiny fishing museum. With that in mind, for quiet family holidays to Tenerife, this place is great. The TUI SUNEO Tamaimo Tropical Self Catering is close to a small, sandy beach, but is also just a 10-minute walk from the beach at Puerto De Santiago. The beach here is quite small, so if you want something a little bigger, simply stroll a bit further along the coast to Playa De La Arena.
There are plenty of activities to keep your days full at the TUI SUNEO Tamaimo Tropical Self Catering, but you can easily get out and about around the island too. The beach at Los Gigantes is just a 10-minute drive away. It’s hugged by dramatic cliffs, and has a host of water sports on offer, and a lively marina too. Head inland, meanwhile, and an hour’s drive will take you to Mount Teide National Park. Wind your way along trails dotted with wildflowers, or make a day of it with a five-hour hike up to the top, to see the planet’s third-highest volcano. If you don’t fancy the hike, you can whizz up by cable car. Rocky coves, black-sand beaches, and views over to the island of La Gomera…for a quiet family get-away with a great selection of activities on-site, and plenty to see and do in the nearby area – a holiday here makes a wise choice.
Puerto de Santiago can be found on the west coast of Tenerife, nestled between Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena. Its laid back atmosphere, unspoiled coastlines and secluded coves provide the perfect environment to recharge those batteries.
Items marked with * incur extra charges which are payable locally.
