Wherever you stay in Hersonissos, you won’t be far from the beach – most accommodation directly overlooks the sea, or offers convenient ways to get there. It won’t take long before its hotels become your luxurious home-away-from-home, with peaceful pools, local Greek cuisine plus back-home favourites, on-site cocktail bars and the occasional waterslide.
TUI SUNEO Chrissi Amoudia
The Chrissi Amoudia an especially family-friendly venue, as they offer a large pool with a splash park, plus entertainment that’s fit for kids during the day and evening. Top amenities here are a buffet restaurant specialising in Greek, Cretan and international cuisine, sporting facilities for volleyball and tennis, plus a free shuttle service to and from the beach.
Silva Beach Hotel
Tucked just across the street from a pebbly beach, the Silva Beach Hotel brings a little swank to Hersonissos. You’re a little more inland at this hotel, but are still treated to views of the sea and close proximity to the centre Hersonissos.

This hilltop hotel shares space with the Royal Belvedere which means that when you’re staying here, you’ll have access to both properties. That equates to more pools than you’ll know what to do with, three buffet restaurants and two open air eateries, plus evening entertainment and daytime sporting facilities. Not to mention access to the popular Star Beach, which is only a 10-minute walk away.
King Minos Palace
This peaceful hotel offers a large swimming pool that’s surrounded by trees and garden space, ideal for more secluded Greek island holidays. Incidentally this spot also doubles as the nightly entertainment takes the stage. The King Minos is only a two-minute walk from the beach and offers minigolf, football and volleyball courts, plus weekly Greek nights with dancing and dining.
