Sandwiched between sea and mountains, the Philoxenia Studios and Apartments would need to work hard to stand out, if it wasn’t for the delightfully modern and eye-catching plum and white facade. Beautifully designed, the structure of the apartments really stands out for the right reasons.
These tastefully decorated apartments come complete with fully equipped kitchenettes for easy self-catering breaks. They’re spread out over an intimate yet uncrowded site and are all within easy walking distance of every amenity you could need. With a lovely beach, numerous restaurants, shops, bars and the town centre all under 1km away, you’ll enjoy sleeping well and taking a dip in the pool at the complex, and little else.

After enjoying a dip in the pool at the Philoxenia Studios and Apartments, thoughts will naturally turn to finding somewhere fabulous to eat and while away a few hours, and Katelios has options in droves.
Traditional tavernas and relaxed eateries are dotted along the hillside and along the beach, so don’t worry about packing any formalwear. You will need some decent walking shoes, however, as the hills are absolutely worth hiking up and will give you some excellent views out over the whole area. You won’t find a bustling nightlife scene here, but neighbouring Skala will satisfy any and all dancing desires.
Still managing to fly under the tourist radar to a certain degree, Kefalonia remains peaceful, pretty and perfect for true relaxation. It’s a slice of authentic Greece that you’ll never forget.
