Holidays to this hotel start from only
Boasting a beach-front location, the Grecotel Kos Imperial basks among glorious sea views, while adding its own beauty to the landscape, in the form of shapely pools and palm-lined walkways. The bungalow bedrooms are bright and breezy, adding to the tropical feel throughout, and there’s easy access to the two on-site restaurants. The hotel is like a luxury village, so there’s no real reason to step outside the complex walls – but if you want to delve deeper, you’ll find a Kos Town bus stop outside, and restaurants and bars a short walk away.
Holidays to Kos give keen travellers a little bit of everything. With fantastic weather to enjoy, great beaches and a range of terrific attractions suitable for all ages, this small island packs an enormous punch. Psalidi is a haven of peace and quiet, making it the ideal neighbour to the far livelier Kos Town. Gorgeous natural scenery, a charming beach, and a real sense of getting away from it all make this a wonderful region to set up camp for a holiday. The real Kos can be experienced here, and the food is truly to die for.
With just one beach, you might worry about overcrowding, but Psalidi is actually a quiet area which offers up a lovely stretch of sand and pebbles where there’s room for everyone. The shallow waters are perfect for children, and as you gaze out over the Aegean Sea, you’ll be able to spot some of the other Greek islands on the stunning horizon. The long promenade is the closest thing to a tourist attraction in Psalidi. It plays home to plenty of restaurants, little souvenir shops and cafes – but commercial it is not. Quaint, and serving up traditional Greek fare, you’ll find that the restaurants are all about laid-back dining experiences and an authentic time. Some stay open late and have al fresco terraces, so you can enjoy after-dinner drinks under the stars. Party animals will want to venture out to Kos Town for an evening of dancing. It’s only 25 minutes away on foot, though there are plenty of buses too.
Psalidi holidays offer a peaceful getaway to a beautiful natural location, away from the buzzing atmosphere of its busy next door neighbour Kos Town. Enjoy the numerous watersports on offer down at the sea or try one of the authentic Greek restaurants along Psalidi's promenade.
