Lichnos Holidays
Spend your time in Lichnos soaking up the sun on its secluded beach, and enjoying traditional Greek dishes in the family-run tavernas. Explore the surrounding countryside, and hike through lemon and orange trees, and visit ancient ruins. Or take a trip up the coast to the lively town of Parga and party long into the night.
Expand your horizons
Spend a few days exploring the area around Lichnos. Take a 20-minute water taxi ride to Parga (or 10-minute drive), and see what the bigger town has to offer. Make sure to visit the 11th-century Venetian castle while you’re there. Just a 20-minute walk from Parga is Valtos Beach, where you have access to brilliant scuba diving, thanks to the rich, deep waters. Or, take a 50-minute drive to ancient Nicopolis, built in 31BC by Roman Emperor Octavius.
Tantalise your tastebuds
Enjoy traditional Greek specialties, fresh fish, and local wine on the beach, accompanied by singers and musicians. A selection of bars will serve you classic cocktails, as well as the Greek favourite, an Ouzo Mojito (aka the Ouzito!). Head to nearby Parga for a lively night out and enjoy everything from casual beach bars to buzzy nightclubs.
Liven up beach days
Whether you want to sunbathe or scuba dive, there’s plenty to do on the beach. The secluded bay has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas if you want to relax and snooze the day away. There are many cafes and beach bars to choose from, ranging from relaxed and casual, to the more lively. If you fancy getting more active, you can explore secret caves further up the coast, or try your hand at watersports like banana boating, diving, water-skiing, and jet-skiing.
