Easy listening at Venice Jazz Club

The Venice Jazz Club might not look like much in the ways of bells and whistles, but it’s an institution in Venice. The space is incredibly intimate and the focus is inevitably on the stage, where local and international musicians alike gather to play jazz. Entrance is €20 per head, but that includes your first drink.

Eclectic beats at Molocinque

Far enough away from Venice’s historic centre so that noise rules don’t apply, Molocinque is one of those big time dance clubs that’ll keep you going until sunrise. There are four dancehalls each with their own individual atmospheres and music vibes, plus a crazy amount of bars, a pool and a terrace for dancing on warm summer nights.

Luxury cabanas at Aurora Beach Club

There’s no better place to party come summertime than the Aurora Beach Club. As you probably guessed, it’s found along the beach – specifically in the Lido district. It has a vibrant club atmosphere with DJs to get the dancing going, and luxurious cabanas for the more relaxation-inclined.

Quirky surroundings at Bacaro Jazz

Bacaro is another of Venice’s jazz spots, but don’t expect live music here – it’s more jazz vibes with a side of quirky. The cocktails are pricier here but the atmosphere is fantastic. And the decor – that’s where the quirkiness comes in. Just look up at the ceiling and you’ll see what we mean.

Historic sips at Tarnowska's American Bar

Tarnowska is attached to the Hotel Ala, a historic spot sporting wooden decorations from the early 20th century. While the bar is named after Maria Tarnowska, the infamous murderess, you should expect sleekness and top notch cocktails, but be advised that it’s cash only or room charge.

Back-home vibes at Devil's Forest Pub

Italy meets England at this cosy pub, where you’ll find Guinness on draught, craft beer and few familiar lagers. It’s tucked away down an alley so only those that are in the know can find it, with many locals gathering here. And the food isn’t bad either – it’s pub grub at its best.

Late-night fun at Tag Club

The Tag Club might not be huge in size, but the parties it throws go big and late. Here, you’ll find live shows and themed nights, plus after-hours parties that don’t get started until around 3am. The house DJs spin a mixture of pop hits everyone can get on board with.

The Irish Pub is just what it sounds like, though it inevitably has a Venetian twist. Come sundown, the interior resembles your classic dimly-lit pub, plus there’s a little terrace that spills out onto the street for pints alfresco.

Dance 'til you drop at Piccolo Mondo

Not just a little hole in the wall, Piccolo Mondo is known as one of the only places to seriously dance in Venice’s historic district. The cover charge gets you a drink as well as entrance, and from there, you should be prepared to dance to classic pop hits and some new Italian ones, too.

Panoramic views at Skyline Rooftop Bar

The Skyline Rooftop Bar is attached to the Hilton Molino Stucky, but you don’t have to be a guest to pay a visit. It’s another one of those spots where the drinks range into pricey territory, but you’re paying for the high quality cocktails plus the view, which looks out over the whole of Venice.
