With ambient lighting and a playlist of relaxed reggae tunes, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a laid-back evening with friends and family. Take a seat in the open air or under the shelter of the thatched roof and wile away the hours with cheap drinks served throughout the evening.

Wild nights at BUILD Factory

Nightclubs may be few and far between around Khao Lak, but BUILD Factory certainly makes up for it. Live DJ sets are a regular occurrence here, while strobe lights and an impressive sound system ensure that every visitor gets in to the party spirit.

Drinks are served at a discounted price after 11pm, so head here a little later if you’re hoping to really get into the action on your Khao Lak holidays. Considered locally as the best nightclub in the area, a night out here is a must during holidays to Thailand.

Take in the house band at Happy Snapper

Western-influenced Happy Snapper is one of the most popular bars in Khao Lak – and for good reason. The resident band here play hits long into the night and is always willing to take on audience requests, making it one of the best places to experience live music in the area.

Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff round off great nights at this bustling venue, which is just as popular with locals as it is with tourists. You’ll find a great selection of cocktails on offer here too, with everything from daiquiris to the aptly named ‘Mad Dog’ shots on the menu.

Take a break at Mr Chay's Bar

Located in the centre of the action and close to the market in Khao Lak, Mr Chay’s Bar is the perfect place to stop off for an ice cold beer after a busy day exploring the local area. There’s always a great atmosphere here and this popular venue can get busy during high season.

The music is a particular treat, with favourites from the likes of Bob Marley and Bob Dylan lining the speakers as guests enjoy some of the best cocktails in town. The lemongrass mojito is delicious, while complimentary peanuts and cooling face cloths also make a welcome addition.
