Holidays to this hotel start from only
Set in a delightfully-secluded location overlooking the mountains, Club Alla Turca is an idyllic place to get away from it all. A fusion of contemporary and traditional Turkish design, it has charm to spare. There’s a lovely big pool and another for the kids, a selection of bars, and a buffet-style restaurant. A short jaunt along the promenade will take you to the centre of town, where all the shops, bars and eateries can be found. A little further on – around a 10-minute drive – you’ll discover the golden, sandy loveliness that is Turtle Beach.
Rich culture, glorious weather, and rugged, dramatic landscapes. These are often the perks you get with holidays to Turkey, and Dalyan is no exception. The river-front setting is wonderfully picturesque, the traditional mud baths are a fun experience, and this place even has ancient tombs immersed in the hillsides. It’s quite a spot, and there’s a lot to see – plus of course, there are all those local bars and restaurants to hunker down in too. The Club Alla Turca is perfectly located to explore everything easily, so you can wander this beautiful, enigmatic land whenever you fancy.
There’s a lot going on round here. If you like your music, the Caretta Caretta Festival is your kind of event. It’s three days of free stadium concerts featuring pop groups and Turkish singers, a program of watersports down at the beach, and an oily pole contest, whereby contestants attempt to grab a flag without slipping into the sea below. There’s also the wonderful Turtle Rehabilitation Centre to explore down on Iztuzu Beach, the incredible tombs of ancient Kaunos are well worth a look, and there’s a traditional market every Saturday too. What a place this is! In essence, a stay at the Club Alla Turca is a tranquil, blissed-out experience. Surrounded by dramatic natural beauty, it’s easy not to feel the need to go anywhere. But if you do, you’ll be handsomely rewarded with a breathtaking village full of charm, character and history.
Located on the emerald-green Dalyan river just inland from Turkey's southwest coast, this traditional fishing village with a harbour is a breathtaking sight to behold. The river runs among citrus groves, pine clad hills and dramatic ruins etched into rockfaces, and it's close to Iztuzu beach.
