It’s three days of free stadium concerts featuring pop groups and Turkish singers, a program of watersports down at the beach, and an oily pole contest, whereby contestants attempt to grab a flag without slipping into the sea below. There’s also the wonderful Turtle Rehabilitation Centre to explore down on Iztuzu Beach, the incredible tombs of ancient Kaunos are well worth a look, and there’s a traditional market every Saturday too. What a place this is! In essence, a stay at the Club Alla Turca is a tranquil, blissed-out experience. Surrounded by dramatic natural beauty, it’s easy not to feel the need to go anywhere.
