The best months to go to Portugal for the hottest temperatures is from June to August where temperatures sit around 25. These tend to also be the most popular months.

If you’re looking to avoid the crowds then May, September and October can be quieter but still seeing temperatures around 20.

Even if November and April the temperatures sit between 16 to 18, so it can be great for a spot of winter sun, or, if you’re planning on being super active, the cooler temperatures may suit better. Cheap holidays to Portugal will be best bagged during these months too.
