One of the main attractions about going on holiday is knowing there’s going to be a gorgeous pool to take a dip into to help cool you down in the glorious sunshine. At the Holiday Village Majorca, there’s not one, not two but SIX amazing pools to choose from! For little ones who are confident swimmers, or even those who want to learn while they’re away, the outdoor pools are great spots for all ages. There’s also a toddler splash pool and family splash park when you want to crank up the fun too.
We all know that one of the main ways to bribe children, oops we meant keep them happy… is with snacks! Holiday Village Majorca really knows its stuff when it comes to tasty treats that help to keep youngsters happy on their hols. Sweet treats like self-service Mr Whippy and fridges packed with Cornettos and Mini Milks pop up in the pool area. And the main pool also gets its own snack bar, ready for fuelling up during your swim sessions.
One aspect that Holiday Villages pride themselves on is their professional, hotel-run creches. Known as HV Clubs, there are sessions for children of all ages. HV Creche looks after the littlest kids, HV Club has a couple of age brackets for toddlers and children, and HV Crew offers activities for teenagers. Paradise Island

Sometimes, on holiday it can be nice to enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet with your other half away from the kids! Hotel kids clubs and creches are a great way to enjoy some time alone knowing your kids are in safe hands. At Paradise Island, the TUI Kids’ Club runs from 1st May to 31st October. It offers everything from disco nights to parent-and-baby sessions, five days a week. Minis looks after 3 to 6-year-olds, and for your peace of mind, all of our Kids’ Club team are trained to UK standards by TUI, and have undergone relevant checks.
When you’re ready for some fun as a family, Paradise Island boasts its own onsite water park! Dino Park is packed with splash-happy slides. There’s a tower of intertwining flumes for adrenaline junkies, plus a shin-high pool filled with cartoon slides, fountains and tipping buckets, perfect for little ones.
Another important thing to consider when looking for a baby and toddler friendly holiday is the location of your chosen hotel. If you’re a family who like to explore the local town or even just take a trip to the beach, ensuring this is as easy and stress-free as possible is really important. Luckily, Paradise Island is a centrally located hotel, so the local shops, bars and restaurants are well within walking distance. There’s also a free bus shuttle service to Playa Dorada beach several times a day if you want to feel the sand between your toes.
TUI BLUE Tropical

Kids are a real focus at the TUI BLUE Tropical, which is great news for families! Unlike many other hotels, the TUI BLUE For Families range offers facilities for babies from a very young age. The baby club is open six days a week for up to two 2-hour sessions a day, as well as some evenings. Fully trained TUI staff are on hand to look after your little ones, aged from 0 to 36 months, and there are toys from leading companies for them to play with.
As well as the fantastic kids’ clubs, there’s plenty for the whole family to get involved in too. There are parent and baby wellbeing sessions for under 3s, as well as family wellbeing sessions for all ages. They focus on mindfulness, using yoga poses, play and relaxation techniques. There’s a whole host of sports on offer, including football starting from age 2, as well as fun character parades featuring mascot, Captain T the dog.
Travelling abroad can be a bit of a worry for parents of fussy eaters, but you don’t need to worry at TUI BLUE Tropical! At the buffet restaurant, there’s a section specifically for kids’ dishes, and family favourites are always on the menu. Healthy eating is a focus at TUI BLUE For Families hotels, so be sure to ask Guest Relations about the Children’s Healthy Eating Challenge, little ones are given stickers to add to their lanyard for every new healthy dish they try!
TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar

Following on with another fantastic TUI BLUE For Families hotel, TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar has some of the best family friendly hotel facilities, and isn’t too far from home! Most Brits dash straight to the pool when they arrive on holiday, since outdoor swimming is rarely a luxury we can enjoy back at home. If your little one hasn’t learned to swim properly yet, or you think they should brush up on their skills, then why not try TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar’s Swim School? It’s split into Splash & Play for 4 to 7-year-olds, Swim School for 5 to 9-year-olds, and Crawl School for all ages.
Once they’ve mastered their swimming technique, or for those who are already very confident when it comes to the water, TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar boasts fantastic pools made with children in mind. The splash pool’s ideal for the little ones, with animal-shaped slides, a tipping bucket and a chute to whizz down.
As this is a TUI BLUE For Families hotel, you can count on the kids’ club facilities being top class. Just like TUI BLUE Tropical, and all TUI BLUE For Families hotels, TUI BLUE Grupotel Mallorca Mar has a great baby club for ages 0 to 36 months. The Minis club is for children aged 3 to 5, and it offers up to two hours of themed activities, six days a week. As always, all of our Kids’ Club team are trained to TUI standards and have undergone relevant checks.
Splashworld Venus Beach
Hammamet, Tunisia
Water babies will love the Splashworld Venus Beach thanks to the fantastic on site waterpark. It has multi-lane slides and a children’s splash pool with a host of smaller slides. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy at the waterpark. Just so you know, the minimum height to use the slides is 120cm. If you’re wanting to visit, the park is open between May and October.
This beautiful hotel also boasts its own private beach which is great when you want a bit of relaxation without needing to worry too much about where the kids have run off to. The beach is scattered with padded sun beds and thatched parasols, so you can easily spend the whole day here soaking up the sunshine and enjoying games on the beach.
If your little one loves to get up and enjoy a boogie, the mini disco on an evening will be their favourite place. They can make great friends with the other children and dance along to all the routines, by the end of the holiday they will have earned themselves a place on the entertainment team! Most importantly, there’s a bar just by the disco which means mums and dads can keep topped up all night long.
TUI BLUE SENSATORI Atlantica Caldera Beach
Lyttos Beach, Crete
TUI BLUE SENSATORI Atlantica Caldera Beach is the perfect mix of luxury and family friendly when it comes to an all-rounder hotel. Youngsters can come along to our TUI Kids’ Club, which features sessions tailored to different age groups. There’s also the BabyClub for under 3s, where sessions are designed to stimulate their senses. In the evenings, Play House Live! shows keep little ones entertained with music, dancing and games. There are children’s parties and movies a few times a week, too.
If your little one is a foodie, or just enjoys trying new foods, then the range of restaurants here are sure to capture your attention. There are seven restaurants at this resort, plus a café. The buffet restaurant has a dedicated low-height buffet station for children to help themselves, as well as seating zones for families and adults. You can dine at three restaurants once per week as part of your All Inclusive package. There’s the Oregano tavern, Five Flavours Thai restaurant and a poolside Tex-Mex, and all a la carte restaurants come with kids’ menus.
You’ll find five pools at this resort. Like at all TUI BLUE Sensatori resorts, there’s a splash pool especially for children and a peaceful pool reserved for adults. Children can soak themselves with tipping buckets and jets at the splash pool, while adults can relax on submerged loungers at their own pool. There’s also a pool for activities, two for families, and an indoor option. What’s great to know is that you can upgrade your room to a swim up room or private pool suite, and there’s dedicated ones for families!
