At one point we couldn’t even have a staycation, let alone a winter sun holiday to the Caribbean! With that in mind, we think we all deserve the trip of a lifetime…

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is a land of luxury! This twinkling gem in the Caribbean has everything from spectacular, serene beaches to buzzing nightlife, making it one of our best-selling destinations for the coming winter months. If you’ve been itching to switch off and wind down in paradise, the Dominican will certainly satisfy your holiday craving.

Our Favourite Family Hotel – Royalton Splash, Punta Cana

Families will have a holiday to remember in this gorgeous, lively hotel near beautiful Bavaro Beach. It has three pools (two of which have swim-up bars and one specialising in scuba lessons!), four restaurants, 11 bars and its very own water park! It’s the perfect spot for an All Inclusive holiday that has plenty of relaxation for the adults and endless fun for the kids.

Our Favourite Adults-Only Hotel – Riu Republica, Punta Cana

Want to escape to total tranquility in an adults-only resort? This radiant Riu hotel on the Arena Gorda beach is a little slice of heaven. It’s super stylish, with nine diverse restaurants and an impressive eight swimming pools. You’ll be able to enjoy an exotic cocktail or two alongside a delicious bite to eat at the beach bar barbeque. Total holiday bliss!

Mexico

Mexico is a country just bursting with character. It has mouth-watering cuisine, white sandy beaches and adventurous excursions galore. Family hotels don’t come much more fun and fabulous than this one! The Bahia Principe Grand Coba has everything you need for an action-packed trip that still allows plenty of time to chill out. Our Favourite Adults-Only Hotel – TUI Blue El Dorado Seaside Suites, Riviera Maya

TUI Blue hotels can do no wrong in our eyes! This absolute gem on the shimmering Riviera Maya coastline offers endless tranquility and total holiday indulgence in swanky, laid-back surroundings. There are five pools to cool down in and a spa with an impressive 16 relaxation zones! You can try out several bars and restaurants, and enjoy the most stunning beach-side areas perfect for topping up your tan with a cocktail in hand.

Jamaica

Jamaica is brimming with colour and vibrance, from its fruity rum cocktails and bright blue waters to fabulously friendly locals and signature reggae beats. We love sending happy passengers to Jamaica as there’s so much to do and see, as well as idyllic places to simply do nothing but laze in the sun! You can expect nothing but delicious food, sizzling weather and good times that roll on for days in this captivating Caribbean isle.

Our Favourite Family Hotel – Riu Ochos Rios, Ochos Rios

This heavenly hotel is sandwiched between a pristine, white beach and a backdrop of luscious rainforest. The scenery sells it to us before we’ve even got to the amazing amenities and fabulous food! It has two spacious pools, a paddling area for the kids and a gorgeous sun terrace complete with two poolside bars. All this is just a 10-minute drive away from the town centre if you fancy exploring, but even if you don’t, you’ll never be bored at Riu Ochos Rios!

Our Favourite Adults-Only Hotel – Riu Reggae, Montego Bay

The clue is in the name with Riu Reggae! Expect mellow music, enticing cuisine, creative cocktails and plenty of fun in the sun. It’s a 5-star, All Inclusive, adults-only hotel, so you can expect unwavering top service and stylish surroundings. There’s plenty to do on the island, or you can spend your days simply dipping in and out of infinity pools, unwinding in a luxurious spa or being wowed by live shows and music, all in the comfort of your hotel!

Florida

Want a jam-packed holiday that’s fun, adventurous and hot hot hot?! Head to fabulous Florida. It’s famous for having the best theme parks and water parks on the globe, as well as miles of breath-taking beaches and delicious, super-sized food. There’s never a dull moment on the Sunshine State, making it one of our most popular long-haul destinations of all.

Our Favourite Family Hotel – Coco Key Hotel and Waterpark – International Drive

If you’re visiting Florida as a family, the likelihood is that you’re going to be VERY excited to venture through world famous theme parks and fun-filled water parks! One of the great things about this hotel is that it’s within easy reach of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando. What’s more, it has its own huge water park with 14 slides! There’s a tiki bar perfect for parents and a range of eateries to refuel in. Family holiday perfection!

Our Favourite Adults-Only Hotel – Glenbrook Villas – Clermont, Davenport and Haines

Don’t be fooled into thinking Florida is exclusively for families – it makes a GREAT adult-only destination as well! Our Favourite Family Hotel – Riu Guanacaste, Playa De Matapalo

Want a holiday that’s filled with scenic views, swim-up bars, sizzling sunshine and a kids’ club so you have time to yourselves as well as plenty of family fun?
