With more than 2000 Greek islands to choose from, all offering an exciting range of beaches, history and activities, it can feel somewhat overwhelming trying to narrow down your search for the perfect island. That’s why we’ve put together this great little guide to help. What better way to plan your trip of a lifetime than by the stars?
Aries (21 March – 19 April)
These fiery little warriors have an innate need to conquer their fears, and enjoy a reckless and determined nature. A holiday for the typical Aries needs to include adrenalin-inducing activities, adventure sports and long hikes to satisfy this Mars-ruled, energetic adventurer’s needs.
Your Greek island – Karpathos
Famous for its wild mountains and sea coves, you can learn to dive, snorkel or windsurf on this remote island. Southern Karpathos hosts an international kitesurfing competition every summer and the island also provides some fantastic hiking opportunities.
Taurus (20 April – 20 May)
Seeking stillness, peace and comfort, Taurus needs a destination which is drenched in culture, art and beautiful architecture. Food is also of utmost importance to Taureans so visiting exquisite restaurants and tasting local delicacies will be top of the to do list.

Crete has featured prominently in the revival in Greek cuisine and is the perfect island for organic, locally produced, authentic Greek dishes and wonderful wines. This is a spot where you can truly indulge.
Gemini (21 May – 20 June)
Mention the word ‘relaxing’ to this free spirit and they’ll be scarpering off into the mountains before you can say ‘sun lounger’. Exciting activities embracing their curious inner child are the way forward, and as social butterflies a destination with a vibrant nightlife scene would make the perfect getaway.

This island is all about energy and is known for its non-stop party atmosphere. Jet ski, windsurf, horseback ride, parasail, explore the old town or visit local ancient ruins. You definitely won’t be bored in Mykonos.
Cancer (21 June – 22 July)
Those born under the sign of Cancer are very much associated with home and prefer trips with close friends and family. As the food and water lovers of the zodiac, destinations with delicious ethnic cuisine and beautiful beaches are a safe bet for Cancers.

Libra (23 September – 22 October)
This easy going, balanced charmer loves to mingle and will be comfortable anywhere with a thriving social scene. They love discovering new cultures and adventurous backpacking trips, and are always cool and composed.
