Summer Months – April to November
The summer months start in April and run through to November, with the hottest months usually being August and September. In these months, the temperatures shouldn’t vary too much as Lanzarote has a sub-tropical climate. You can expect north easterly trade winds, during these months, however, this doesn’t affect the temperature and can often be a welcome way to cool down. Rain is also very rare in the summer months.

Winter Months – December to March
The winter months run from December to March, but it’s certainly not winter as we know it! December and January are known as the wetter months, however, rainfall is not something you will see often in Lanzarote. You will also see a drop in the wind this time of the year. You can expect warmer days and cooler nights, in fact, the temperatures rarely drop below 16°C during the day making it the perfect destination for some winter sun. It’s also a great time to grab a bargain break.
