Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt
This ravishing resort on the Red Sea offers the dreamiest sunbathing spots on idyllic, peaceful beaches. It’s also particularly popular among those who love to dive deep among the sea life and snorkel surrounded by tropical fish. After a day of exploring the waters or simply soaking up the sun, you can head back to one of many spectacular hotels for delightful food and lavish evening entertainment. What more could you want in a holiday?
Things To Do
The first thing that springs to mind when we think of things to do in Sharm el Sheikh is scuba, scuba, scuba! It’s one of the top spots in the world for divers, with everything from graceful manta rays to hammerhead sharks swimming by to greet you. One of the biggest diving destinations in Sharm is the Ras Muhammad National Park, filled with fascinating reefs and shimmering fish. If you’re a diver, it’s a must!
Those who are less comfortable in the water will still find plenty to do in this wonderful corner of Egypt. For example, it’s a great place to shop! You could head to bustling local markets and find everything from trinkets and mementos to clothes and jewellery, or you could opt to visit SOHO Square, a modern shopping and entertainment centre that will keep you busy from morning to night.
Where To Stay
One of our very favourite hotels in Sharm El Sheikh is TUI BLUE Sensatori Coral Sea. If you love five-star luxury and plenty of choice on your holiday, you’ll fall in love with this place too. It has an impressive dining scene, with six restaurants and 10 bars, along with five pools and all-day entertainment. You can rely on Sensatori hotels to offer a premium experience with a warm welcome, pristine surroundings and a huge range of facilities. This beachside slice of paradise is the perfect spot for any holiday to Sharm El Sheikh.
Agadir, Morocco
Fancy heading to the western coast of Africa? Agadir will offer a holiday that’s chilled, hot and luxurious. This beautiful destination is set at the foothills of Morocco’s Anti-Atlas Mountains, so you can imagine how dramatic the backdrop is at most of Agadir’s swanky resorts. Beach days, delicious food and peacefully escaping the rush of everyday life is what holidays to Agadir are all about.
Things To Do
Aside from lazing the days away on picturesque beaches or by twinkling hotel pools, you can spend your time exploring the many wonders Agadir has to offer. For example, you could venture out into the desert on a jeep excursion, you could head up into the mountains for a trek with some incredible views or you could even opt for a romantic hot air balloon ride. There are plenty of activities to get involved in here!
Those who like a little adventure and adrenaline on their holiday will love exploring Paradise Valley, a tropical oasis where you can swim in fresh natural pools beneath luscious green palms and rugged mountain landscapes. This stunning valley is just outside of Agadir and takes around an hour to reach, but it’s totally worth it – you really will have an exciting and memorable day out.

Hammamet, Tunisia
Hammamet is probably the most popular of all the resorts in Tunisia, a gorgeous gem sitting right in the centre of the northern coast of Africa. It mixes classic architecture with sizzling sun to give visitors a charming escape in stunning surroundings. Originally a fishing village back in the early 1900s, it’s now a thriving resort town playing host to hundreds of happy holiday-makers every year.
Things To Do
We’ll be honest, one of our favourite things to do in Hammamet is simply soak up the sun for hours on soft, golden beaches, dip in and out of perfectly clear waters and enjoy every moment of that wonderful holiday feeling. It’s the perfect place to lap it all up! However, if you like to fill your days with activities when you’re on holiday, you’ll find plenty here to keep you occupied too.
Fancy adding a little adventure to your holiday and giving the kids a day they’ll love? You could head to Carthage Land, an exciting amusement park filled with fun rides and attractions for all the family. If you’d rather stay close to the beach, there are plenty of boat trips and water sports to add that little something extra to your holiday. With beautiful scenery and glorious sunshine, any activity in Hammamet will be one to remember!
Where To Stay
Our most popular hotel in Hammamet is the spectacular five-star Manar Hotel. It serves up a big dose of luxury along with a world of fun for the kids. There’s a whole host of stunning rooms to choose from (including swanky swim-ups!) along with exquisite a la carte dining and a jam-packed activity programme. Especially when you consider how beautiful the hotel is, you can often snap up some really great value deals here so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
Hurghada, Egypt
Hurghada is a lively, warm and totally gorgeous destination in Egypt. Powdery white sands on the radiant Red Sea are the perfect spot for a beach day, and those who like to dance the evenings away on their holidays will fall in love with the nightlife here. It’s a fantastic place to go scuba diving and it’s also got a fascinating history to discover. In a nutshell, Hurghada has something to impress pretty much everyone!
Things To Do
Exploring Hurghada will give you some incredible experiences. A visit to the Old Town is a must on your Egyptian escape. You’ll be able to discover quaint traditional Egyptian coffee shops, browse a range of goods at colourful souks and dine at one of many tasty restaurants. You’ll see some stunning architecture along the way, such as the grand Mosque El Mina Masjid, and not too far away you’ll get some stunning views from the marina.
When you fancy getting away from it all, a trip out to Giftun Islands is just the ticket. These two secluded islands off Hurghada’s captivating coastline are simply beautiful. When you hop on an excursion to Giftun Islands, you’ll likely get some time to simply relax on beaches surrounded by clear waters, as well as getting to snorkel among rainbow coral reefs and animated sea life. Total bliss!
Where To Stay
You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to heavenly hotels in Hurghada, but one that always stands out to us and is hugely popular with our customers is the Jaz Bluemarine Resort. The exterior is like a palace and everything from the rooms to the bars is perfectly designed to be modern and stylish. You’ll be able to feast at one of four restaurants (you can visit the sister hotel’s a la carte numbers) and you’ll have access to the hotel’s own waterpark! It’s a holiday haven where you’ll never be bored.
Marrakech, Morocco
Marrakech, known as the Red City, is a vibrant and picturesque place in central Morocco that’s been popular among holiday-makers for years – and for good reason! There’s so much to see, from grand palaces and medieval architecture to enchanting gardens and luxurious spas. You’ll also be able to get lost in a maze of colourful treasures in one of the city’s bazaars or food markets and spend hours exploring many quirky coffee shops and tasty restaurants.
Things To Do
Your camera roll will be filled with so many colourful and interesting snaps after a visit to Marrakech! There’s plenty to do, both in the city and out on excursions. Closer to the city, we’d recommend you swing by and wander the gorgeous and tranquil Jardin Majorelle botanical gardens, or you could opt to do a little shopping in treasure-filled souks. Into your fashion? You’ll want to add the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech to your to-do list, where you can see amazing exhibits of YSL wonders.
If you don’t mind venturing a little out of the city centre, there are some brilliant excursions to embark on from magical Marrakech. You can journey out into the desert and have a sunset camel ride, drive through the amazing Atlas Mountains on a 4×4 or even book yourself onto an authentic Moroccan cooking class. Whichever experience you choose, you’ll love getting out there and making the most of your time in Morocco.
Where To Stay
The first hotel that springs to mind when we think of marvellous Marrakech is the TUI BLUE Riu Tikida Garden. It’s large and luxurious, with elegant gardens and swish loungers surrounding the four inviting outdoor pools. You’ll be able to treat yourself to the ultimate pamper at the hotel’s magnificent on-site spa before tucking into flavoursome food at a colourful buffet or a Moroccan a la carte restaurant.
