The Spice Girls, Platforms and Friends are just a few things that come to mind when we think of the 90’s, but what about the iconic styles and looks that went along for the ride? Now two decades later we’ve witnessed a resurrection of some of the most popular trends making their way into suitcases this Summer. Here are just a few items that have crawled their way back on the scene.
High Waisted Swimsuits
These quite daring swimsuits are throwing it right back to those Pamela Anderson Baywatch days with celebs from the likes of Kylie Jenner and Beyonce embracing the bold look, and we know what you’re thinking, those tan lines are going to be awful but we prefer to use the term different and there’s nothing wrong with a little different.
Chokers
These grungy accessories are taking us right back to the 90’s and we’re okay with that! With so many designs chokers are the perfect addition to help any holiday outfit stand out and look that little bit edgy.

French Plaits
We all know that the go-to hairstyle on holiday is a messy bun, it’s practical and easy but why restrict yourself to just one look, there are a few quick and simple styles you can give a go and one that has been slowly creeping its way up from the style grave is the French Plait. Now it might take you a few attempts to perfect these gorgeous braids but once you do they’ll be no going back.

Floral Dresses
Don’t worry we’re not talking Kim Kardashian’s 2014 Met Gala maternity dress, when we talk about the comeback of floral dresses we mean those elegant, skater types that remind us of long summer days. These dresses are perfect for an evening on holiday whether you’re going out for a meal, a cheeky cocktail or just a stroll on the beach.

Jelly Sandals
No matter how old you are you can never go wrong with a good pair of jelly sandals, they’re the ultimate holiday shoe. The plastic, colourful and sometimes glittery buckle ups are back and they’re bringing a whole lot of childhood memories with them.
Bum Bags
A bit like marmite, you either love them or hate them, personally we think they’re fantastic for holidays and festivals. What’s not to love? You have everything you need right under your nose without the hassle of lugging round a bag on your shoulders. Bum Bags come in so many designs and colours you’ll definitely find one that suits your style and personality.
There’s probably one very important lesson to take away from this post and that’s don’t throw anything away, you never know when it might come sneaking it’s way back onto the high street.
