This next hotel is a family number that’s armed to the nines with fantastic facilities and exciting experiences. If you’re looking for an amazing family getaway alongside glorious weather, then look no further than Holiday Village Turkey!
What is a Holiday Village?
If you haven’t heard of the Holiday Village brand already then you’re in for a treat! They’ve got everything you could possibly want for action-packed and fun-filled days in the sunshine.
They’re geared specifically towards families, with all kinds of activities and entertainment to delight young ones and adults too.
We’re talking about facilities that include things like stand-out pools and aerial adventure high ropes courses, as well as an evening roster of entertainment that caters to everyone. And Holiday Village Turkey is one of our favourites!
Take your pick of pools
Water babies (of all ages!) will be in their element at this hotel. It lines up a seriously impressive pool count (seven to be exact!) including splash zones and slides.
The standout number has to be the big lake-like pool with its accompanying giant water funnels, but there’s also three quieter pools to test out, including one with whirlpool baths built in for relaxing in the sun, as well as a slide pool with four fun chutes to fly down.
Little ones even get a pair of pools to themselves for splashing in, complete with fountains and a mini-slide. There really is something for everyone!
Blissful beach days
If all the pools aren’t enough, or you simply fancy feeling the sand beneath your toes, then you’ll be pleased to know this hotel gives you direct access to the beach.
It’s got its own private section with free sunbeds and parasols, so grab your favourite cocktail from one of the bars and head on down towards the sea for a beautiful beach day.
If you still want adventure after a sunbathing session then further down the beach you’ll find a water sports centre, where you can pay to do the likes of parasailing or jet skiing. You can even purchase photos and videos of your experience to have as fun keepsakes forever.
Never a dull moment
Holiday Villages are known for delivering the goods when it comes to full-on family entertainment – day and night.
Whether you want to make sure the kids are kept entertained or you’re hoping for a few belly laughs yourself, Holiday Villages know how to give the whole family a good time.
During the day, kids and grown ups have the choice of an amazing array of activities. Take up raft-building, get competitive at a game of crazy golf, take up tennis, celebrate a strike when you play 10-pin bowling or practise your aim at archery.
Kids especially love the purpose-built assault course – the Aerial Adventure high ropes structure – where they can climb up and clamber over obstacles to reach the highest point. Children need to be over six, and you can even have a go too!
One of the best things about Holiday Village Turkey has to be the daily party in the pool! No one wants to miss this moment, where tunes are turned up and everyone is encouraged to bust their best moves in the pool, inflatables and all. It’s worth putting your all into, as there’s even a Prince and Princess of the pool crowned, which you can don with pride for the rest of the day!
After dark, the whole family can partake in quizzes as well as watch shows and live music put on in the amphitheatre. There’s even a separate area just for grown ups too, where the entertainment is geared just towards adults. Comedy nights here are a must!
Amazing academies
As if all those activities available weren’t enough, Holiday Village Turkey is also an amazing place for young ones to learn and grow thanks to their one-of-a-kind academies! These do come at an extra charge, but you’ll soon see that they’re worth it!
Budding Beckham’s can enrol in the Football Academy if they’re aged between 4 and 16, and will be put through their paces by FA or UEFA-qualified coaches on a two-day course starting at £33.
If you want your family holiday to be the time your little ones learn to swim, then signing them up for the Swim Academy with a ASA-qualified teacher is a no brainer! Their swimming styles will come on leaps and bounds in these sessions, and their confidence in the water will soar. It’ll be £33 well spent!
Budding thespians will simply love the limelight they’re given at the Stage Academy. The workshops are ran by a top UK entertainment company, and will bring children out of their shell and onto the stage in no time. £39 gets you a trio of 2-hour slots!
Fantastic food and drink
The food and drink offering at this hotel is just as impressive as the entertainment on offer – you’ve got five fabulous restaurants to pick from.
The Italian is a firm favourite for top-notch pizza and spaghetti staples, or you can choose to try out tasty local dishes at the Turkish a la carte. If Asian cuisine is more your thing then you’ve got a whole restaurant dedicated to far-east flavours, and if you just can’t decide then there’s always the brilliant food in the main buffet restaurant to fall back on!
When it comes to in-between snacks, there’s stalls serving up the likes of ice cream and freshly cooked pancakes, plus a place near the main pool that serves up everything you need for a lovely light lunch. Or you can simply grab a toast from the Chill Out Bar!
Drinks-wise, there’s five bars for you to choose from – with one of them morphing into a dreamy disco space in the evenings. There’s a great range of cocktails included in the All Inclusive – so make sure to test them all out!
