Spotlight On: Lujo

Many icons around the world introduce themselves by just one name – Madonna, Cher, Prince to name a few. And this hotel has followed suit, one short and snappy name but is definitely nothing short of an iconic spot. Next up in the Spotlight On series is Lujo in Bodrum, Turkey, and this place is a real show stopper! Keep reading to find out more…

Five Star Luxury

Lujo is found in the popular resort of Bodrum in Turkey, which is said to be fast becoming the Saint-Tropez of the Turkish Riviera! The summertime can see many famous guests choosing to holiday here including Christiano Ronaldo, Beyoncé and the Saudi royal family. This trendy, cosmopolitan town is made up of sugar-cube houses that spill down the hillside into two turquoise bays, one has a glitzy new marina, the other a small beach. They’re both watched over by the turrets of St Peter’s Castle.

The hotel itself is in a beautiful spot, and spreads its grounds far and wide for the ultimate, peaceful, luxury retreat. Because of its grand stature, the hotel boasts not one, not two, but three private beaches reserved for hotel guests only. Down on the sea front you’ll also find Indigo Beach Club, which is reserved for adults only.

Lujo is well located for your holiday whether you’d like a quiet and tranquil retreat where you don’t need to leave the hotel grounds, or if you’re the exploring type, there’s plenty of towns close by that you can explore. Güvercinlik is only 4km away, and it’s great for hilly walks and hiking trails if that’s your sort of thing. A little further afield you’ll find Bodrum City Centre, about 20km away, and here you can enjoy plenty of historic sites, bazaars and even the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
