Last June my mum and I needed to get away somewhere we could chill out for a while, so as a surprise my dad packed us both off for a week’s all inclusive to the Athos Palace in Halkidiki. We could not have asked for more as we both had such a revitalizing time. Our room was beautiful and we had a lovely mountain view. We had a small fridge which was greatly appreciated for keeping our drinks cool.
We were very happy with the efficiency of the staff. They were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. The maid service was spot on and our room was cleaned daily and so were our towels. The food was plentiful and served buffet style and we never had a problem getting seated. There was a wide variety of food to suit every taste and there was an extensive drinks menu which we both appreciated! On an evening there was entertainment on the beach. It varied each night and was followed by a mini disco so most nights we stayed for a little boogie. The hotel has its own private beach which is lovely and clean and safe. There were a variety of water sports available but being a bit apprehensive, mum and I just stuck to the pedalos!
I can’t really comment on the areas surrounding our hotel as the hotel offered everything we needed for a relaxing week away. My mum has booked to go back this July with my dad.
