We are excited to announce that the launch date for the Thomson and First Choice Summer 2016 brochure launch is 23 April 2015 and we got some thrilling news to tell you including new destinations, a new route, a new adult only range and over 20 new hotels.
Long haul
Cuba is re-joining the summer 2016 line up along with some fantastic new hotels including Hotels Momories, Gran Varadero and Royalton Hicacos. Thomson will be the only operator flying from London Gatwick to Varadero on the 787 Dreamliner and all prices include tourist visas and departure tax.
If fascinating wildlife, tropical rainforests and grand adventures are more your thing, then 2016 will see us at our first summer season in Costa Rica and will feature hotels from the platinum range such as the Riu Palace Costa Rica and Riu Guanacaste.
Due to its increasing popularity Aruba has secured a new Manchester flight for summer 2016. Remember that complimentary drinks are served on all long haul flights and from May 2015 we are enhancing our Premium Club which includes fast track through security, lounge access and priority boarding in UK airports.
Thomson has added two new hotels in Florida, both located on International Drive. The fantastic All-in-One holiday combines two weeks in a hotel with theme park tickets and will celebrate its first Summer Season in 2016.
Introducing our new Thomson Sensimar range
Thomson have made their child-free holidays even better, from May 2016 Thomson Couples will become Thomson Sensimar, however only the finest 4 and 5T hotels have made it across to our new range. These top hotels have prime locations, contemporary designs, first class dining scenes and a focus on wellbeing.
They have also introduced three new hotels into the Sensimar collection, Sensimar Grand Mediterraneo Resort & Spa by Atlantica in Corfu, Sensimar Ibiza Beach Hotel and Sensimar Bavaro Dominican Republic. All hotels in the new Thomson Sensimar range will come with free Wi-Fi.
New Sensatori Hotels
Just as Thomson is about to open the doors to the new 2015 Sensatori resorts in Ibiza, Cyprus and Fethiye in Turkey, they are pleased to announce the addition of two more Sensatori resorts for Summer 2016 in Rhodes and the Dominican Republic.

Globales Bouganvilla Majorca is SplashWorld’s newest recruit, having opened six new SplashWorld hotels in 2015 we are pleased to hear this one will be joining the line-up for 2016, having been totally refurbished and will feature a brand new waterpark. Did you now there are over 12 miles of slides across our SplashWorld resorts?
SuneoClub holidays are all about affordable quality, think beautiful beach resorts, bright comfy rooms and plenty of entertainment. Thomson have added three new additions in Menorca, Majorca and Gran Canaria which brings the total to 15 SuneoClubs for 2016.
Lastly, they have added eight hotels to our platinum Lifestyle collection, including RIU Tikida Dunas, RIU Monica Costa Del Sol and Almyrida Residence Boutique Hotel Crete along with some of the former Couples Hotels that didn’t make it into the Sensimar range such as The Island Crete and Ambre Mauritius.
